Pro-Bolt Mirror Polished Stainless Steel Fastener Kits 

Lightning Services is proud to announce that we've been selected as the area's Exclusive Pro-Bolt Imperial Dealer. 

Here at Lightning Services we  were the first to use the Pro-Bolt Mirror Polished Stainless Steel Cylinder Head Bolts as an upgrade on an engine build. Pro-Bolt 316 Mirror Polished Stainless Steel Head Bolts are  so good that we now offer them as an upgrade on all apprpriate Harley Davidson and Buell Motor Builds.

Now that supply is assured and the range has expanded, we offer the Pro-Bolt Mirror Polished Stainless Steel Head Bolt Kit for the owner mechanic to polish off their Harley motor top end overhaul to the highest possible standard. There's also Motor and Transmission Fastener Kits available for all Evolution/Twin Cam Big Twin models and Evolution Sportster models. The kits are available individually or as boxed total bike kits. There are kits Pulley and Disc Rotor Bolt kits, too. 

These fastener kits from Pro-Bolt are manufactured in England from 316 Grade Stainless Steel, which is superior in strength and corrosion resistance to the more common A2 steel. All threads are rolled for greater strength. This is an exceptional quality product produced with a mirror polished finish - absolutely no more polishing is required. The added advantage of the Pro-Bolt Stainless Steel is that it won't chip or flake like chrome plated fasteners. It's easy to clean and retains its Brilliant Shine. These kits have the classic appeal of Chrome but offer the hardiness of Stainless Steel.

Top notch quality replacement front and rear disc brake rotors for Harley Davidson motorcycles. Optimised performance with a more efficient area of pad contact compared to standard round discs. Laser cut from premium induction hardened stainless steel, diamond ground for the perfect finish, these disc rotors not only look great but also offer a weight saving over standard OEM disc rotors.

Available to fit both 1984-1999 and 2000 and later models. There's also front right side disc rotors for twin disc models. Available from stock.

It is recommended that you replace your pads at the same time as the rotors. We stock EBC pads in GG and HH Sintered Compounds where available for all OE calipers and many aftermarket calipers too. Slotted Teardrop CV Air cleaner

Harley Light Pull Clutch Conversion

Available for 1987 and later Big Twins and 1994 and later Sportster models. There's no reduction in spring pressure, so no loss of performance. The benefit is all in the reduced effort needed to operate the lever. Make riding your Harley or Buell in town stop and go traffic easier and more pleasurable. Got small hands? This kit is what you've been looking for. 

The conversion is a Ride-in Ride-out service but booking is essential.

1994 onwards Sportster/Buell conversion for only £ 92.00 inc parts, labour and vat.

1987 onwards Big Twin conversion from only £  125.00 inc parts, labour and vat.

Pop-Up Fuel Filler Caps

These classy chrome pop-up filler caps come singly (vented right hand or non-vented left hand) or in pairs (one each vented right and non-vented left). Made to fit late model oem Harley Davidson style tanks with screw in filler caps. When closed they give a cool smooth finish, but by simply pressing on the centre section and turning 1/4 turn it pops up allowing you to undo the screw in filler. Convert your sticky out factory filler caps to smooth, sleek pop-ups. Available from stock.

The Exhaust Solution

Lightning's new exhaust clamp fastener kit means the end of leaking exhaust ports, burned out gaskets and the associated popping and banging on your Harley or Buell. Available as a kit for Evolution (BT & Sportster/Buell) and Twin Cam Engines consisting of four stainless steel nuts and 4 Nord Lock Retainers as well as a kit for Shovel Head Engines consisting of two stainless steel socket cap bolts and two Nord Lock Retainers. We advise fitting these kits in conjunction with new exhaust port gaskets. These kits are easy to fit and outperform spring washers, star washers and thread locker. We always fit one of these kits with a new exhaust at Lightning Services.

Hydraulic Bike Lift:

With the reduced lowered height this new model is even easier to use to lift your slammed to the ground custom. This is the tool to get access to all those hard to reach areas and it gives your knees a rest, too.

How good is it? Well, we use one of the old Americanas in the workshop at Lightning Services - it just keeps on going! We've just started to use one of the new Americana 2s ourselves because of our workload and to take advantage of the reduced lowered height when working on slammed to the ground customs.  Can't give a better recommendation than that. If these lifts stand up to daily professional use in our workshop they should last the home mechanic a lifetime.

Chopper/Cruiser Lift

This is a bit of a lighter duty lift than the Americana, but still of professional quality. This lever style lift is absolutely brilliant. (Yes, we use a lift like this in the workshop at Lightning Services, too.) Ideal for almost all cradle framed motorcycles (not recommended for Harley Sportsters), this lift helps to make light work of cleaning, chain/belt maintenance and wheel removal. Made from steel and protected with a plated finish, it is ready to use straight from the box. This lift is height  adjustable to suit the ground clearance of different machines and comes complete with a replaceable protective sleeve to look after your frame and a grip to make it easy on your hands. What a bargain!
