PREMIUM YTX MAINTENANCE FREE WITH ACID PACK

At Lightning Services we recognise that you want the best possible performance in terms of starting power, reliability and ease of use. Therefore our standard battery product is the equivalent of most suppliers top end product. We supply as standard Maintenance Free YTX Series batteries wherever possible. These Valve Regulated Lead Acid (VRLA) batteries are totally sealed once activated, eliminating spills and leakage. This makes this range of battery particularly suitable for motorcycle use. These robust and maintenance free batteries last much longer than conventional batteries. Each YTX Series battery is supplied with its own easy-fill acid pack for activation and no further maintenance or topping up is required - ever.  Each battery comes with full filling and charging instructions.

The YTX14L2 battery is a great MAINTENANCE FREE UPGRADE for bikes originally using a YB14LA2 battery. Bikes such as: BMW's F650, Gilera's Nordwest, Harley's MT500 Rotax Military, Honda's CX400/500/650, Nighthawk, CB750/900/1000/1100 and CBX1000, Kawasaki's ER5, GPZ500s, VN700, GPX/GPZ models, GT750, Z900/1000, Suzuki's GS/GSX models, Yamaha's XS/FZ/FJ/XJ models.

GEL NANOTECHNOLOGY MG SERIES

Lightning Services also supplies Gel Nanotechnology MG Series batteries for bikes where these are specified as original fitment. These Advanced Sealed Activated MG Series batteries utilise a True Gel Electrolyte rather than a liquid. The use of this gel electrolyte eliminates leaks even in the event of case breakage. True Gel MG batteries like these from Dynavolt offer significantly more charge/discharge cycles as well as  a longer standby shelf life (when bike is in use) compared to other batteries on the market.

Maintenance Chargers

We understand that we are not all 365 day riders. Let's face it, when the salt goes down, many of us will tuck our baby up in the garage to avoid the damage that road salt will do to your exposed brightwork - polished or plated. Of course you can spray on a good dose of protectant, but sometimes you just want to play safe and protect your ride from the ravages of the winter. Batteries self discharge at around 1% per day - the discharge rate will be more on bikes with alarms fitted. Allow your battery to discharge too far and it'll be a hefty bill for a replacement. At Lightning Services we stock a range of Maintenance Chargers to ensure that you get the best possible life and performance from your motorcycle battery. We have a range of units available from Battery Fighter, Bike Tek Optimate and Battery Tender with units for 1, 2 or even 4 motorcycle batteries. All of these chargers come with Croc Clip fitting and with permanent on bike plugs/fly leads. Park her up and plug her in. She'll be ready to go when you are - on the button.
